New resources covering education, training and employment topics are currently being created by the NDCO Australia wide team and will be launched throughout the year.
The revamped Get Ready for Study and Work school student workshop is hot off the press. Based on ten top tips for young people with disability it contains information, contacts and activities to help students make a successful transition from school into tertiary study, work or post school programs.

ADCET aims to promote and contribute to inclusive teaching practices within the post secondary education sector in order to facilitate successful outcomes and improve the educational experiences of students with disability. It has a section for students, topics surrounding inclusive teaching and specific information for disability practitioners.

Our NDCO annual conference provides the opportunity to learn what other regions are delivering, collect handy resources and identify common gaps in the transition to education, training and employment for people with disability. Raised was a common interest to see how the 31 NDCOs covering all areas of Australia can improve collaborative as a national network to be a stronger voice for our stakeholders.
This conference also provides an ideal time for Queensland NDCOs to strengthen our working relationships and discuss the possibilities of joint projects.
